Programme 03

Nutritional Medicine Counselling

Medical nutritional therapy for medically indicated metabolic disorders, intolerances and deficiencies.

Nutrition is one of the most effective levers in many metabolic and cardiovascular diseases. Unlike general nutritional tips, medical nutritional therapy is evidence-based: it starts from your laboratory values, your body composition and your medical history.

The focus is on a few concrete, practical changes — not calorie counting, but effective adjustments that fit your life.

Scope of services

  • Detailed nutritional history and food diary
  • Body composition analysis (bioimpedance, BIA)
  • Laboratory diagnostics (micronutrients, lipid metabolism, insulin resistance)
  • Individual nutrition plan
  • Individual counselling on food choice and portions
  • Follow-up checks (weight, laboratory, BIA)
  • Education on food labelling and nutritional values
  • Support with allergies and intolerances

Medical indications

This programme is considered in particular for the following constellations. The individual indication is determined by the physician in a personal consultation.

Where there is a documented medical indication, these services are exempt from VAT as medical treatment (§ 4 No. 14a of the German VAT Act). The decisive factor is the therapeutic objective, which is documented traceably in the patient record.
