Detecting cardiovascular risks early.

Physician-led diagnostics and prevention for elevated cardiometabolic risk — individual examination, clear indication, well-founded findings.

Our Approach

At the centre are the heart and blood vessels. We assess them together with metabolism — because blood pressure, lipid metabolism and glucose regulation all shape the health of the cardiovascular system.

Heart, vessels & metabolism in view

Heart attack, stroke and type 2 diabetes announce themselves years in advance — through concrete risk factors that can be detected early: arterial hypertension, impaired glucose metabolism, dyslipidaemia, elevated lipoprotein(a) or a family history.

Where risk is present, we combine cardiological diagnostics with metabolic medicine — as early detection with a clear medical purpose. The examination follows your individual findings, not a predefined product.

In the findings consultation we interpret the results together and initiate — where medically indicated — targeted therapy or follow-up.

Cardiometabolic Medicine

Why heart and metabolism belong together

Heart, vessels and metabolism form a closely interwoven system. Understanding it as a whole reveals risks years earlier — while they can still be influenced and reversed.

Physiology

The system behind the risk

Most cardiovascular disease begins at the vessel wall. Its fine inner lining, the endothelium, keeps the vessels elastic and responsive. High blood pressure, unfavourable blood lipids and elevated blood sugar damage this layer over years — deposits form, the basis of atherosclerosis.

What strains the vessels rarely comes alone. Arterial hypertension, an atherogenic dyslipidaemia and disorders of glucose regulation tend to occur together — driven among other things by insulin resistance, visceral fat and chronic low-grade inflammation. They reinforce one another.

It is precisely this close link between heart, vessels and metabolism that defines the term cardiometabolic. It explains why looking at individual values in isolation often comes too late — and why overall risk can only be assessed meaningfully in context.

Insulin resistance

Reduced cellular response to insulin — the earliest, long-unnoticed driver.

Endothelium

The inner lining of the vessels; its function determines vascular health.

Visceral fat

Metabolically active abdominal fat — hormonally far more dangerous than subcutaneous fat.

Metabolic syndrome

A combination of abdominal fat, high blood pressure and glucose and lipid disorders.

Conditions

What we aim to detect early

Most cardiometabolic diseases develop silently over years — and only become apparent once damage has already occurred. Prevention starts earlier: at the precursors that can still be reversed.

  • AtherosclerosisDeposits in the vessel walls — the basis of heart attack and stroke. Often begins decades before the first symptoms.
  • Arterial hypertensionHigh blood pressure continuously strains heart and vessels, yet remains symptom-free for a long time.
  • Prediabetes & type 2 diabetesA disorder of glucose regulation that is often still fully reversible at the precursor stage.
  • DyslipidaemiaUnfavourable blood lipids, in particular ApoB and lipoprotein(a) — the latter genetically determined and rarely measured.
  • Heart failure (precursors)Early changes in cardiac function that can be detected on echocardiography before symptoms appear.
Diagnostics

How we make risk visible

A single value says little. Only the interplay of functional diagnostics, imaging, laboratory work and body analysis yields a robust, individual risk profile.

ECG & exercise testing

Heart rhythm and performance at rest and under defined exercise.

Echocardiography

Ultrasound of the heart — structure, pump function and valves, radiation-free.

Vascular diagnostics

Pulse wave velocity, ABI and CIMT reveal the biological age of the vessels.

Extended laboratory

Over 40 values — from HbA1c and insulin to Lp(a), ApoB and hsCRP.

Body analysis (BIA)

Bioelectrical impedance precisely measures fat, muscle and visceral fat mass.

Glucose monitoring (CGM)

14 days of continuous measurement — your individual response to every meal.

Service Programmes

Nine programmes — one individual indication

Our services are organised into nine physician-led programmes. Which examinations and measures are actually carried out always depends on your personal history, risk factors and findings. Prevention and weight management are at the centre.

None of these programmes are flat-rate packages. The nature and scope of every service follow the individual medical indication and are documented per patient. Billing is itemised under the German Medical Fee Schedule (GOÄ) and is, where medically indicated, generally exempt from VAT pursuant to § 4 No. 14a of the German VAT Act.

The Practice

Refined surroundings, personal care

A private practice focused on prevention and health care — in newly designed rooms with warm light, calm colours and high-quality materials.

The practice is being created in fully renovated, spacious rooms. Instead of clinical white, you are welcomed by warm natural tones, muted blue and sage green, dimmable daylight and acoustically calm treatment rooms for confidential conversations.

The reception area is spacious and welcoming, with daylight and a pleasant atmosphere. The treatment rooms form a quiet axis away from reception — for discretion and focused conversations.

The design draws on a connection to nature, calm materials and pleasant light. An environment in which medical prevention takes place with the time and attention it deserves.
