Programme 06

Medical Applied Kinesiology

Physician-led kinesiological testing method for functional diagnostics of the musculoskeletal system and identification of stressors — complementing conventional diagnostics.

Applied Kinesiology uses the manual muscle test as a tool of functional diagnostics. In medical hands and as a complement — not a replacement — to conventional diagnostics, it can help make functional relationships visible that are not always captured by standard methods.

Scope of services

  • Detailed history (structural, biochemical, psycho-emotional)
  • Manual muscle test (MMT) for functional diagnostics
  • Structural therapy (mobilisation, muscle release, craniosacral techniques)
  • Nutrition kinesiology (testing of foods and supplements)
  • Identification of neural stressors (tooth-jaw axis, scars, trigger points)
  • Challenge procedures
  • Holistic therapy concept

Classification

Applied Kinesiology is a complementary method. It does not replace instrument-based or laboratory diagnostics, but can sensibly accompany them. We inform you transparently in advance about its possibilities and limits and agree a written fee arrangement beforehand.

Medical indications

This programme is considered in particular for the following constellations. The individual indication is determined by the physician in a personal consultation.

  • Chronic pain syndromes
  • Functional musculoskeletal complaints
  • Chronic exhaustion / fibromyalgia
  • Food intolerances
  • Temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD)
  • Neurophysiological imbalances without organic findings

Billing is carried out via analogous fee items (§ 6(2) GOÄ). Where there is a clearly documented medical indication and therapeutic objective, VAT exemption applies under § 4 No. 14a of the German VAT Act.

Personal consultation

Whether and to what extent this programme is appropriate for you is something we clarify together in a personal consultation.
